  • This is an online event. (map)

Presenters: William Beardselee, MD, Abigail Ross, PhD, & Jacqueline Martin, PhD

Family Talk is an evidence-based, strengths-focused intervention that helps families cope with parental mental health problems that are having a negative impact on the family and children's functioning.  Family Talk has been used with myriad populations in both the US and internationally.  In this webinar, you will learn about the Family Talk intervention, how it has been successfully adapted for use in In Home Therapy, and the collaborative approach to training our community-partners, with particular attention to flexibility and sustainability. We also discuss what Family Talk training typically involves, how to attain it and the benefits of learning and implementing Family Talk in your agency.
