Workshop sponsored by the Parent/Professional Advocacy League (PPAL) for parents and caregivers of youth with behavioral health challenges. 

Participants will learn:

• how to identify, document and communicate concerns
• an overview of school evaluations and requesting additional evaluations
• how to understand eligibility for special education and 504 plans with a mental health diagnosis
• behavioral support plans and accommodations
• trauma support and the IEP
• ways to use PPAL's tools, guide and sample letters
